Russian Infantry Units

Two Russian infantry units ready to fight.  Still need to add flags but these are the Odessa and Simbirsk regiments from the 27th Division.  The 27th fought at the Fleches at Borodino.  Normally not a problem with AB miniatures, but the advancing pose figures have fragile bayonets, so a drop of glue was added to the bayonet to hopefully help hold them on.

Chasseurs of the Imperial Guard Cavary

Here are a few squadrons of the Chasseurs a Cheval of the Imperial Guard.  Nice christmas colors just in time for the holidays!  These are AB figs.

French Chasseurs a Cheval

French 1st and 2nd Chasseur Regiments.  Both regiments has scarlet regimental color, 2nd had green collars instead of scarlet.  So I've either got two small regiments or they can be put together to form a larger 1st or 2nd Regiment.  These are Battle Honor/OG15 figs.  I haven't used to many of them in my collection as I feel the AB figs are nicer but the OG15 figs are generally more "dynamic" and good in their own right so I mix in a few OG15 units for the tabletop.

Not sure why I posted such a dark image before.  I tend to do that . . . I shouldn't be afraid of the light!

King's German Legion 2nd Light Battalion

Finished up the 2nd Light Battalion KGL.  Pretty much the same as the 1st Light, though sources said they had darker uniforms so I did that.  Not sure how well that shows in the photos.  Sources also identified other minor uniform differences between the 1st and 2nd Light but as I'm using the same sculpts I didn't make those distinctions.

Adding to the KGL, here's the 1st Light Battalion.

First pic is the "formed up" battalion and the second pic is the battalion on skirmish bases.

British Generals

Below are some British generals for the Peninsular Army.  Uxbridge, in the dark blue cavalry uniform is decked out for Waterloo, but the others can pass for the Peninsula.  Collars and cuffs are a dk blue but may need to lighten that a bit.  Ignore the bases, I haven't decided if I want to base these individually or with ADC's

Horse Grenadiers of the Imperial Guard

"Heads up, gentlemen, these are bullets, not turds". Colonel Louis Lepic harangues the Grenadiers à Cheval as they are forming for a charge under intense fire at the Battle of Eylau in 1807. Painting by Édouard Detaille at the Chantilly Museum.

And below are my impression of the Grenadiers à Cheval of the Imperial Guard.  Figs are 18mm AB's.

Spanish Dragoons Ready for Action!

Finished up some Spanish Dragoons for action in the Iberian Peninsula.  Figs are Blue Moon.  Pretty good second to AB Figures.  Cast bases are a little larger than necessary, riders need a bit of filing to sit on horses but detail and proportions are good.
